Great opportunity exists for skilled and passionate Scrub Scout Nurses looking to take the next step in their career.
This well-established private hospital, known for delivering excellence in surgical care, is expanding its perioperative team. We are seeking experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse – Scrub Scouts to contribute to this high-performing and supportive operating theatre environment.

As a key member of the perioperative nursing team, you will provide specialized nursing care across a range of surgical disciplines. Your expertise will ensure the safe and effective preparation, assistance, and post-operative care of patients undergoing procedures in our state-of-the-art theatres.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality scrub/scout nursing support across a variety of surgical procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthetists, and other clinical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to clinical and organisational protocols
• Support and mentor junior staff as needed
• Participate in continuing professional development to maintain and expand clinical competencies

   

Essential Criteria

• Minimum of 3 years' recent perioperative experience, preferably in an Australian healthcare setting
• AHPRA Registered Nurse – current and unrestricted
• Bachelor of Nursing Degree
• Postgraduate qualification in Perioperative Nursing (completed or working towards)
• Desired Experience in the following areas- neurosurgery, Vascular surgery, Cardiothoracic surgery, urology, Gynecology or robotic assisted surgery
