Position Overview

We are looking for three experienced Mechanical Engineers to join our teams based in Queensland, South Australia, and Western Australia. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will design, analyse, and oversee the installation, operation, and maintenance of machinery and mechanical equipment. You will collaborate with a skilled team, including designers and project managers, to ensure that engineering standards are met, and project goals are achieved efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and Development:
• Develop and design mechanical systems and equipment according to project specifications, ensuring efficiency, sustainability, and compliance with standards.
• Prepare and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and blueprints for manufacturing and installation.
• Project Management and Planning:
• Plan, manage, and oversee installation and commissioning of mechanical systems on project sites.
• Ensure project timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met, and identify and resolve technical issues effectively.
• Analysis and Problem Solving:
• Conduct mechanical analysis to evaluate design performance, and optimize systems for efficiency and durability.
• Implement troubleshooting and diagnostic assessments for mechanical issues, proposing effective solutions.
• Testing and Quality Control:
• Conduct testing of systems and equipment to confirm compliance with project requirements and regulatory standards.
• Maintain records of inspections, testing results, and maintenance activities.
• Client and Team Collaboration:
• Communicate project updates, technical information, and recommendations to clients and internal teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers and project managers, for seamless project delivery.
• Health and Safety Compliance:
• Ensure adherence to workplace safety standards and environmental regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop safety protocols for equipment installation and maintenance.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering, preferably within industrial or manufacturing settings.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
• Knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, materials, and methods.
• Familiarity with industry regulations, including safety and environmental standards.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, with a client-focused approach.
