Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicles using cutting-edge diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, brake adjustments, and tire rotations to ensure vehicle safety and efficiency.
- Identify and resolve mechanical and electrical issues efficiently.
- Stay informed about the latest advancements in automotive technology, including hybrid and electric vehicles.
- Effectively communicate technical issues and service recommendations to customers in a clear and professional manner.
Requirements:
- Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of 2 years of practical experience in an automotive workshop environment.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and hands-on experience working with various vehicle makes and models.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication skills, paired with a genuine passion for the automotive industry.
Annual income for standard 38 hour week excluding superannuation Range ($73K - $80K) per annum commensurate with industry rates, skills and experience.
