About the Role:
As a Breakfast Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality breakfast meals, ensuring customer satisfaction with each dish. Your role will include managing breakfast service, maintaining kitchen operations, and adhering to food safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, cook, and present breakfast dishes to the highest standard.
- Manage breakfast service, ensuring timely preparation and delivery.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering kitchen supplies.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen environment.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to optimise operations.
Requirements:
- At least a Certificate IV in commercial cookery or above
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a Breakfast Chef or similar role
- Expertise in preparing and cooking various breakfast dishes, from classic options to creative specialties.
- Strong time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications in Food Safety and Hygiene are preferred.
Applicants who need sponsorship must meet the following criteria, in addition to the previously mentioned requirements:
- A valid English language certificate is needed, with an overall IELTS score of at least 5.5 and no individual section scoring less than 5.0.
- Depending on where you are placed or your nationality, you may need to complete a skill assessment from either TRA or VETASSESS, the relevant Australian skill assessing authorities.
