Located at the heart of the WA Croatian Community Centre in North Fremantle, is seeking a qualified full-time Chef to join our vibrant team. We are a busy community member club with a passion for celebrating Croatian food and culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing a la carte meals for our bistro patrons.
- Catering for a wide range of events, including cocktail parties, christenings, weddings, and corporate functions.
- Menu planning with a focus on Croatian regional cuisine.
- Managing kitchen staff and overseeing daily kitchen operations.
- Food costing and maintaining budget requirements.
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a la carte cooking
- Strong knowledge of Croatian regional cuisine.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, split shifts, and weekends.
- Experience in kitchen staff management and event catering.
- Knowledge of menu planning and food costing.
