Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, the Plant Mechanic will guide a team to complete rebuilds and component change outs on Caterpillar heavy earthmoving equipment. The variety of equipment includes D10 and D11 Dozers, 992 Wheel Loaders, 24M Graders and a wide range of models of Off Highway Trucks (777F – 793F). This work will be completed in a collaborative, team environment with a strong focus on safety.
Location: Welshpool
Roster: 5 days on, 2 days off (10 hour shifts)
To be successful the following is required:
• Ability to work night shifts, additional hours and weekends/extra days as required to support the team
• Heavy Vehicle or Plant Mechanic Trade Qualification
• Caterpillar product knowledge, ideally component change out experience
• Experience with Caterpillar Systems (ET, SIS, VIMS) desirable
• Dedication to a safe working environment and quality work for our customers
