About the role
Located just five minutes from the heart of Hobart, our Hospital is the largest private hospital in Tasmania. We are leaders in Neurosurgery, Orthopaedics, Urology, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Surgical and Medical Care.
We have a modern Maternity and Women’s Health Unit, which is a 34 bed ward, comprising of 21 postnatal/surgical beds, 5 birthing suite rooms and is supported by an 8 bed Level 2 Special Care Nursery.
Our model of care has a focus on midwives operating at their full scope of practice; you will deliver high quality care to your patient and families across both low risk and complex cases.

About you
- AHPRA Registration
- Demonstrated recent clinical experience in an acute care and/or hospital setting
- Ability to work unsupervised, proficiently and in an organised manner during periods of high demand and activity
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated communication, interpersonal skills and customer service skills
- A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
