We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse to step into a leadership role within a busy and supportive medical practice in the heart of Caringbah. Available as a full-time or part-time position, this is a fantastic chance to contribute to community health while developing your leadership skills in a cooperative clinical setting.
This well-resourced practice offers a range of in-house health services, and you'll play a key role in supporting both patients and healthcare professionals while overseeing the day-to-day operations of the treatment room.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver a range of clinical services such as immunisations, wound care, health assessments, and pathology collection
- Support doctors during minor procedures and manage patient triage
- Oversee the treatment room team, including rostering, performance support, and day-to-day coordination
- Maintain a clean and efficient clinical space, ensuring equipment is sterilised and stocked
- Work closely with the Practice Manager to uphold clinical standards and ensure protocols are followed
- Contribute to staff training and assist with recruitment where needed
- Build patient trust and rapport, supporting them through procedures and treatments
What We're Looking For:
- AHPRA-registered nurse with experience in general practice, community, or acute care settings
- Prior team leadership or coordination experience (minimum 1 year preferred)
- Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
- A proactive, compassionate approach with a strong patient care focus
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Eligibility to work in Australia and up-to-date immunisation history
