About the Role
Skill City Recruitment is seeking an experienced and passionate Pastry Chef on behalf of a respected hospitality client in Western Australia. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled pastry professional to join a growing business known for its artisan-quality pastries, cakes, and baked goods.
Our client is an approved sponsor and is offering 482 Temporary Skill Shortage Visa sponsorship to eligible overseas candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and present a wide range of pastries, desserts, and baked items
- Assist in seasonal menu development and product innovation
- Maintain high food safety and hygiene standards
- Oversee inventory and ordering for the pastry section
- Collaborate with the broader kitchen team to deliver consistent quality
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Pastry Chef or in a similar pastry-focused role
- Relevant qualifications in Patisserie, Baking, or Culinary Arts
- Strong technical skills and creativity in pastry design and execution
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet production deadlines
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
