About the role
We seek for a a full-time Chef situated in the charming town of Kojonup, Great Southern, WA. This role offers the opportunity to showcase your passion for exceptional food and hospitality in a thriving regional primary producing community.
What you'll be doing
- Prepare and cook quality, valued, meals using fresh, locally-sourced Great Southern ingredients
- Collaborate with the owners and patrons to develop and refine seasonal menus that showcase the best of regional produce
- Maintain strict food safety and hygiene standards in the kitchen
- Contribute to the overall success of the hotel's accommodation, food and beverage operations
What we're looking for
- Formal culinary qualifications and experience as a Chef in a similar hospitality environment
- Sound cooking skills with a keen eye for detail and presentation
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
- Ability to work effectively and unsupervised
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Passion for using fresh, seasonal ingredients to create memorable dining experiences
