Salary: A$72,000 to A$80,000.

We are on the lookout for an experienced Chef looking to make the step up. You will be rewarded for your experience, your hard work and passion for delivering the best streamline kitchen operations.
We operate kitchens in many different locations, we have been at it for 10 years and have an incredibly established team with a wealth of experience. They have been under a great leader and we are now looking for someone to step into those shoes.
Job Description
- Preparing and cooking diverse dishes by following established recipes and standards.
- Ensuring all dishes meet quality and presentation standards before they are served to customers.
- Monitoring inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, coordinating with the purchasing department to maintain appropriate stock levels.
- Maintaining strict hygiene levels and sanitation standards in the kitchen and adhering to food safety regulations and best practice.
- Collaborating with fellow kitchen staff to plan and execute production schedule, ensuring timely delivery of orders to meet customer demand.
- providing guidance and support to junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and efficient work environment.
- Assisting with menu development and participating in tastings and evaluations to refine recipes to enhance the menu.
- Staying informed about industry trends and techniques, incorporating new ideas and innovations into the cafe's menu offerings.
Job Requirement
- Minimum Certificate IV in Kitchen Management or Commercial Cookery.
- Minimum 1-year experience in a commercial kitchen.
- Strong attention to detail and passion for high-quality dishes.
- Excellent organizational and management skills.
