We are a very busy restaurant open 7 days a week.
Working the famous Main Beach enables you to spend the morning relaxing in the sun, walking in the National Park or surfing the world famous point breaks.
Working holiday visas accepted however you must reside in Australia to apply, with full working rights.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to prepare and cook high quality dishes.
Take ownership of a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring all dishes are prepared and presented to the highest standard.
Assist in menu development and contribute creative ideas to enhance our culinary offerings.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation in your section of the kitchen adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering their growth and development with in the team.
Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a reputable restaurant.
Strong culinary skills and a passion for the industry.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow within the culinary field.
Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications are a plus.
Sponsorship is available after a probationary period of 9 months
