Are you an experienced Registered Nurse looking for a rewarding opportunity in a stunning location? We have an exciting FIFO or permanent role available in a small, welcoming Regional District Hospital in Tasmania.
Key Responsibilities:
- Triage:Â Assess and prioritize patient needs in the Emergency Department
- Monitoring & Recording:Â Vital signs, patient progress, and ongoing condition updates
- Care Plans:Â Develop and implement personalized care plans for patients
- Medications & Treatments:Â Administer medications and treatments as per care plans
- Assisting Procedures:Â Provide support during various medical procedures
- IV Medications:Â Administer and monitor IV medications effectively
- Patient Education: Inform, educate, and answer patients’ questions about their care
- Wound & Skin Care:Â Perform wound dressings and provide skin care
- Lab Work:Â Draw blood and collect lab specimens as required
What We’re Looking For:
- AHPRA registered nurse with 3-4 years of experience in a clinical setting
- Must be ED trained or have previous trauma experience
- Cannulation skills
- Triage Competence
- ALS
- PALSÂ (preferred, but not essential)
