The Role
The Senior Materials Manager will support the National Materials Manager with the introduction of new products and running projects to ensure all suppliers and processes are in place to meet demand targets. Key duties will include:
- Attend planning meetings in NPD & Deletions and various Project Meetings providing feedback to cross functional teams
- Mitigate SLOB and write off from changes and communicate any impacts and risks
- Drive the new item request process
- The RequirementsPrevious experience materials/inventory/supply planning within an FMCG environment
- Extensive experience of new product introduction setting up suppliers and processes
- Strong Excel skills
- Previous experience with ERP systems ideally SAP
