About the role

As part of our close-knit kitchen brigade, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes that showcase the best of local, seasonal produce. What you'll be doing
- Preparing, cooking and plating a variety of hot and cold dishes using the freshest seasonal ingredients
- Ensuring all dishes are cooked to the highest standard and presented beautifully
- Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient kitchen environment
- Collaborating with the Head Chef to develop new menu items and specials
- Adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations
- Providing guidance and training to junior kitchen staff
What we're looking for
- Formal culinary qualifications and at least 3 years' experience as a Chef in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality dishes and exceptional customer service
- Excellent knife skills, food preparation techniques and knowledge of various cooking methods
- Strong time management and organisational abilities to work efficiently under pressure
- Passion for using locally sourced, seasonal produce to create delicious, innovative dishes
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to the overall success of the kitchen
