About the Company

The company is a South East Queensland based Diversified Trades Business with over 35 years of experience and four separate divisions.

This position is part of the company’s Media & Signage Division. With over 130 staff, the Media & Signage team has a large manufacturing facility in Brisbane where all signage and related items are designed and manufactured.

About the Opportunity

The Spray Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as necessary, as well as;

• Select and mix paints to achieve desired colours and finishes
• Operate and maintain spray painting equipment and tools
• Apply power coating.
• Apply coatings evenly and efficiently to achieve consistent results
• Monitor drying times and make adjustments as needed
• Inspect finished work to ensure quality and adherence to specifications
• Follow safety protocols and use protective gear to prevent accidents and exposure to harmful substances
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines

About You

• Certification or training in spray painting techniques
• Previous experience working in manufacturing or industrial settings with steel, stainless steel, aluminium
• Familiarity with specific coatings and materials used in the industry
• Proven experience as an Industrial Spray Painter or similar role
• Extensive knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
• Knowledge of safety procedures and practices related to painting and industrial Environments
