ABOUT THE COMPANY

SUMMARY OF ROLE
The key responsibilities of the role, include, but not limited to:

  • Liaison with the Factory Manager in respect of production planning & delivery
  • Leading production, hands-on from the front to ensure that production plans are delivered productively on time and in accordance with the Company’s Policies, Procedures and Quality Assurance Program
  • Recruitment, Induction, training, development, and ongoing performance management of the production team
  • Responsibility for upholding and managing factory OHS in accordance with the Company’s OHS Policies & Procedures
  • Contribution to supply chain and supplier performance reviews in conjunction with the Factory Manager
  • Ongoing training and education to all relevant team members in respect of all documented procedures and policies relating to the factory.
  • Responsibility for machinery care and ensuring that service and maintenance programs are undertaken as and when due.
  • Participation in production related business, planning, development & improvement initiatives with the wider management team

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  1. Minimum of 5 years of experience fabricating UPVC products, focusing on double glazing.
  2. Proven track record of successfully leading and executing UPVC fabrication team.
  3. In-depth knowledge of UPVC materials, tools, and manufacturing.
  4. Good problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot installation issues effectively.
  5. Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
  6. Ability to work independently and part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  8. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  9. Relevant certifications or qualifications in glazing or construction trades are desirable.
